Our core is the foundation of all movement. It aids us in stability, flexibility, and balance. Our core and glutes work synergistically. Dysfunction and poor communication in these areas can lead to tight and weak hips, adductors, lower back, knees, and even neck and shoulders. This class is designed to improve power, stability, and balance as well as boost your energy and vitality!

You will be guided through a range of movements that focus on strength and stability in the core and glute muscles in order to balance and release areas of chronic tension and weakness. Longer holds in planks, squats, and lunges. Dynamic movements in crunches, leg circles and curls. More subtle techniques include lengthening the tailbone, anchoring the front rib angle, internal and external rotation. These practices integrated with diaphragmatic breathing and focused attention create dramatic and lasting effects on the mind, body and energy.

This class is suitable for all fitness levels and abilities, and can be tailored to meet the specific needs and capacity of each student. Enjoy increased body awareness, strength, flexibility, and move with more confidence and grace. 

All props provided. No previous experience required.
