Neck and shoulder pain is a very common experience, and can lead to a number of other events including headache, TMJ, anxiety, and a compromised immune system. Contributing factors include stress, injury, poor posture, and even sitting for long periods of time.
In this workshop we will explore optimal alignment for the head, neck, spine, and shoulders; and basic movement and breathing patterns to help us unwind tension. We will learn modifications for during a yoga practice, and simple release techniques that can be practiced at home, work, and before a yoga or meditation practice in just a few minutes.
